Description: Curriculum to foster kindness in the classroom by age level. The training will include information by age level to promote kindness in the classroom.

Description: Want to keep parents informed? Want to have interesting websites for parents and students to try? Want to help parents understand what's going on in your classroom? You can do it all with a class website. We will build a basic website using WIX.com (if I could get one of the computer labs to work through it would be great, if not, then they can bring laptops to my classroom.)

Description: This session would expose teachers to a variety of apps, websites, and programs that have proven valuable to me and that I use regularly. After presenting, I would provide time for teachers to share how they use technology in their classrooms. The goal would be that each teacher would leave the session with at least one new resource that they feel would fit well into their "toolbox."

Description: In this session, we will discuss a number of successful strategies that help develop student writing with spelling, descriptive writing, and other components of the writing process.

Description: Classroom management is an area where we all could use a refresher course to make sure that our students get the most out of the lesson, but also stay focused on the tasks that they have been assigned. During our time, you will be given a few "tools" to help facilitate your classrooms in an active and participatory way. You will also be shown how to integrate some new ideas into your lessons to increase the "Visible Thinking" in a different way.
